Part 1 provides an introduction to the topic of Temporary Traffic Management and describes the structure to the 10 Parts of the Guide, the key principles of Temporary Traffic Management and the ongoing governances of the Guide and training by Austroads.

Austroads Guide to Traffic Management Launch

This recording is of the launch event for the Guide to Temporary Traffic Management held on 11 December 2019.

Austroads’ Guide to Temporary Traffic Management (AGTTM) details contemporary temporary traffic management requirements for Australia and New Zealand practitioners. It contains guidance and instructions for planning, designing and implementing temporary traffic management to ensure the safety of employees and contractors working in or near traffic, and a safe environment for all road users.

The culmination of a four-year collaborative project between Austroads, Australasian transport agencies and industry, the Guide will help to harmonise temporary traffic management practice in Australia and New Zealand.

Improving the Reliability of Heavy Vehicle Parameters to Support More Accurate Traffic Modelling in Australia and New Zealand

This webinar provides an overview of ways to more accurately model heavy vehicle movements during interrupted traffic flows in Australia and New Zealand.

Australasian Road Asset Data Standard – Opportunities for Local Government

This webinar outlines how local road managers can use the data standard and engage with collaboration activities, to provide access to new asset management and maintenance insights with minimal impact on workload.

• the Austroads Data Standard’s design, and definitions, and the multiple ways it can be used
• how harmonised data sets are being used to promote benefits at local and national levels
• how this supports national transport and infrastructure reform actions

Infrastructure Changes to Support Automated Vehicles on Rural and Metropolitan Highways and Freeways

Properties of General-purpose Cement with Increased Percentages of Limestone
